The Early Childhood Program is constantly adding new and engaging activities to our program! We have a designated STEM Center which is available to all classes ages 2 and up where we have created a dedicated makerspace for the children to explore science, technology, engineering and math in a fun and challenging environment! The children still have STEM lessons in their individual classes, however with the addition of the STEM Center, we are able to introduce them to a wider variety of hands-on activities, and they are learning so much while having fun at the same time! The children attend "Wiggle World" five days a week and on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, they go to STEM and Library classes as part of the daily curriculum. Chapel is held in the church each month and led by a Deacon if available.
In addition to our regular class schedule, we also offer extra classes in the afternoons from 1:30 to 2:15. For example, Soccer Shots Houston is now available as an after-school activity to enrolled children between the ages of 2 - 5! We also offer "Books Alive", "Art & Beatz" which is a music class, and an exercise class called "Stretch & Play." These classes are for ages 2 through Pre-K 4. Thursday is our "STEM and Friends" class for Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 students. Each of these classes are taught by one of our staff at an additional charge.

St Paul's Early Childhood program offers a nurturing, loving and safe learning environment for the pre-school age child. We focus on developing fine motor, gross motor, and cognitive skills that will prepare your child for early education.
An introduction to Spanish is offered in our Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4 classrooms. In these classes, the children will learn colors, numbers, and shapes in Spanish as well as a few prayers and songs. Our two year olds learn Spanish through daily repetition in song and during circle time. Our Pre-K 4 classes focus on kindergarten prep using TEA guidelines.
The mission of St. Paul Early Childhood Program is to offer an environment for the pre-school age child in our parish community that encourages developmental skills that are age appropriate. Religious values will be incorporated in the curriculum as well as in the attitudes of the staff. Our hope is that this program will promote families' visions of their own unique mission, sanctity, gifts and strengths for the service of their own families, the church and society.
